Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 24, 2026

OutTheyGo (the “App”) is a puzzle game made by Alessandro Pace (“we”, “our”, or “us”). This policy explains what information the App handles and the choices available to you.

1. Information stored on your device

Your level progress, scores, stars, best times, streak history, hints, revives, settings, and onboarding status are stored locally on your device. This information lets the App remember your progress and preferences. You can reset this data from the App’s settings or remove it by deleting the App.

2. Analytics

We use Mixpanel to understand how the App is used and improve onboarding, gameplay, retention, and purchases. Analytics can include events such as first launch, onboarding completion, levels started or completed, hints used, paywall views, and completed purchases. Event properties can include the level number, score, stars, streak, app version, operating system version, and general device model.

Mixpanel is configured to use its European data endpoint. We disable IP-address geolocation and automatic event collection. We do not send your name, email address, puzzle board contents, contacts, photos, or precise location to Mixpanel. Mixpanel processes this information under its own privacy policy.

3. Game Center

If you use Apple Game Center, Apple handles authentication, leaderboard entries, and achievements under Apple’s privacy policy. We do not operate a separate account system for Game Center data.

4. In-app purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat through our SubscriptionKit integration to manage purchase entitlements and restoration. RevenueCat can receive transaction and device-related identifiers needed to recognize your purchase status. We do not receive your payment-card or billing details.

5. Notifications

With your permission, OutTheyGo can schedule streak reminders. These reminders are created on your device. You can disable them in the App or in iOS Settings at any time.

6. Support email

If you contact us, we receive the email address, message, and any other information you choose to include. We use it to respond to your request and keep it only as long as reasonably needed for support and legal records.

7. Data sharing and sale

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information only with service providers needed to operate the App, including Apple, Mixpanel, and RevenueCat, or when required by law.

8. Data retention and your choices

Local game data remains on your device until you reset it or delete the App. Analytics and purchase information are retained by the relevant service provider according to its policies. You may contact us to ask a privacy question or request help relating to information we control.

9. Children

OutTheyGo is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and address it.

10. International processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, they use legal safeguards for international data transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
