OutTheyGo (the “App”) is a puzzle game made by Alessandro Pace (“we”, “our”, or “us”). This policy explains what information the App handles and the choices available to you.
1. Game progress and iCloud sync
Your level progress, scores, stars, best times, streak history, hints, revives, settings, onboarding status, and records of granted in-app purchases are stored locally on your device. If iCloud is available, the App also stores this game data in your private Apple CloudKit database so your progress can sync across devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Apple processes iCloud data under its own privacy policy.
2. Optional rewarded advertising
OutTheyGo uses Google Mobile Ads to offer optional rewarded video ads. You choose whether to watch one in exchange for an in-game hint or revive; the App does not show forced interstitial or banner ads.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and process an IP address, which can be used to estimate approximate location; device or app identifiers; information about ads shown; interactions such as taps and video views; crash logs; and performance information such as launch time, hang rate, or energy use. Google may use this information to deliver and measure ads, perform analytics, prevent fraud, diagnose problems, and improve its services. We do not provide Google with your name, email address, precise location, puzzle contents, contacts, photos, or payment-card details.
Before the App requests ads, Google’s User Messaging Platform checks whether a consent message is required and presents it when applicable. Where available, you can revisit your ad privacy choices from the App’s settings. The ads and data processing available to Google can vary based on your region, consent choices, device settings, and Google’s policies. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy.
3. Analytics
The App includes an analytics integration with Mixpanel to help us understand usage and improve onboarding, gameplay, retention, and purchases. When enabled, analytics can include events such as first launch, onboarding completion, levels started or completed, hints used, paywall views, and completed purchases. Event properties can include the level number, score, stars, streak, app version, operating system version, and general device model.
When analytics is enabled, Mixpanel uses its European data endpoint. We disable IP-address geolocation and automatic event collection. We do not send your name, email address, puzzle board contents, contacts, photos, or precise location to Mixpanel. Mixpanel processes this information under its own privacy policy.
4. Game Center
If you use Apple Game Center, Apple handles authentication, leaderboard entries, and achievements under Apple’s privacy policy. We do not operate a separate account system for Game Center data.
5. In-app purchases and RevenueCat
Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We use RevenueCat to record and validate purchase history, prevent fraud, provide purchase-related functionality, and understand purchase performance. RevenueCat receives purchase information and an automatically generated anonymous App User ID. OutTheyGo does not send RevenueCat a name, email address, phone number, custom account ID, advertising identifier, payment-card number, or billing details. RevenueCat processes this information under its privacy policy.
6. Notifications
With your permission, OutTheyGo can schedule streak reminders. These reminders are created on your device. You can disable them in the App or in iOS Settings at any time.
7. Support email
If you contact us, we receive the email address, message, and any other information you choose to include. We use it to respond to your request and keep it only as long as reasonably needed for support and legal records.
8. Data sharing and sale
We do not sell personal information for money. Information is shared only as described in this policy with providers used to operate the App, including Apple, Google, Mixpanel, and RevenueCat, or when required by law. Advertising providers may process information for advertising and ad measurement according to your choices and their policies.
9. Data retention and your choices
Local game data remains on your device until you reset it or delete the App. Synced game data can remain in your private iCloud database and on your other devices until removed through the App or your Apple services. Google, Mixpanel, and RevenueCat retain information according to their respective policies and legal obligations.
You can decline an optional rewarded ad and continue playing, revisit Google ad privacy choices from the App’s settings when that option is required in your region, disable notifications in iOS Settings, and manage iCloud through your Apple Account settings. 10. Children
OutTheyGo is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and address it.
11. International processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, they use legal safeguards for international data transfers.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
